The planet Psychon was a dying world. Mentor, and his daughter Maya were their last inhabitants. Everyone else, including Maya's brother, left their planet a long time ago. Now when the moon entered their system, Mentor saw the opportunity to find more energy for his computer that energy source was based on living sprits. Koenig, Helena and some of their pilots got standed on Psychon. When he found one of his pilots among some other soulless creatures working in the mines, he realized that Mentor's computer was responsible for their pityful condition.
Mentor, tried to force Koenig to order his crew on Alpha to come to Psychon. But Koenig tricked him and ordered the destruction of Mentors base. Maya, who knew nothing about her fathers plans finally learnd the truth about the computers nature when she first visited the mines. She helped Koenig and his people to escape and sealed her homeworlds fate.

The earth of this century was a desert with some human cities, build in giant mushroom-shaped structures. When they first tested the device, an earthquake on earth caused a malfunction of the device. Koenig, Helena and Carter were beamed to earth, but in a different century. They discovered that they landed in the dark ages of scotland and soon found themselfes fighting for their lifes.

After Koenig investigated a strange asteroid passing the moon, he found a cave were he was attacked by a chrystal entity. The entity replaced him by a mirror-image of himself and send it back to Alpha. It's mission was to transfer as much energy needed to re-awaken an entire civilization which was frozen into a microcosmos. Maya, Tony, Helena and Carter were fooled by the mirror-image. But when his actions began to endanger the life-system of the base they tried to invesitgate a strange mineral he brought back from the asteroid. What they found convinced them, that Koenig is still on the asteroid and that the man on the base is a doppelganger. Only Carter still believed the doppelganger to be Koenig and accused them of mutiny. A battle against time begins.

A cloud of space dust caused a mysterious illness among the Alphans. An eagle crew was send to discover it's secrets. But soon after they learned that there was something inside the cloud what communicated with them. The aliens told them to simply give away their life-support system. When Tony denied their demand they made sure to get it by sending someone who takes care of the problem. When the eagle returned to base, an alien droid entered the base to take the needed system. Tony and Maya are the only left command crew who were able to deal with the threat.

Meanwhile Maya got an unknown fever which caused her to morph into several dangerous creatures and to go on rampage on Alpha.

Still only Koenig knows about the real nature of the earth visitors. When he talked about what he saw he was put under medical surveillance. Dr. Russel believes his mind to be damaged from the treatment. The visitors made it possible to return to earth with some of the crew. Alan Carter is among them.
Later, Maya and Helena got unsure if Koenig might not be right. They conclude that aliens saw the relatives they impersonate in the minds of the crew through telepathy. Only Koenig and Maya, who also saw the aliens now were left to defeat the aliens who planned to blow up the rest of the moons nuclear waste dump to create energy.

An investigation started to find the murderer. Maya discovered that a huge space phenomenon emerged lambda waves, which could give some humans paranormal powers. The suspects in question were tested of those powers and some of them were found. Meanwhile, John Koenig had visions of people who died under his command. They talked to him, accusing him to be responsible.
When one of the suspects got aware of her power to controle people she took command of Alpha herself.

She also told Helena, that she had a criminal on her ship. Her mission was to send him to exile on another planet. She also called him a plague.
When she first saw Maya, she immediately shot her. Maya fell in some kind of coma. The only reason to shoot her was simply that she was from Psychon. She told Alan, that a Psychon called Dorzak landed on her homewolrd. He and his crew claimed to be refugees because their planet was dying. But soon after they learned of a virus they were carrying that might destroy her society.

A moon of that planet had the same atmosphere. When they got there they lost control ofer their eagle an crashlanded. The moon they landed on is a penal colony lead by a woman called Elizia. Koenig got imprisoned, while Maine died in a forcefield.

Zoran, their commander, left a message to whoever may had come here and who had to face the same danger his crew died from.

Shockwave after shockwave from unexplainable explosions reached Alpha. Soon they would be so immense that the base is eventually be destroyed. When Koenig, Carter and Maye investigated the source, they found a ring of moons around a planet with installations on it that created those explosions. The shockwaves were used to protect the planet from collisions with other objects like the moon. Koenig wanted to convince the inhabitants of the planet to turn off their defense-system, so that the moon can pass. But then he learned that the inhabitants were in a pupation-like state and he had to wait for them to re-awake in their new human form to talk to them.
When they finally could talk, the deciding vote sentenced Alpha to death. But Koenig's psychological speech turned the events and Alpha was saved.

After crashing his eagle, Koenig was dragged from the wreckage unconscious. Meanwhile Alpha detected a closing spacecraft which turned out to be a so called Super Swift. That was supposed to be a spacecraft capable of faster than light travel. But in 1999, the Super Swift only existed on drawing boards. Soon after Toni Verdeshi was surprised to see that his brother Guido commanded the vessel. Jost before Koenig awoke from his coma an Alpha crewman tried to kill him. Koenig was stunned to hear from the visitors from earth, but when he first met them he saw them as wht they really were... alien creatures disguised as humans.
